If they're collecting the data, the data has value - A class action suit for the "value" of your data puts a quick end to it. It's great as long as it's free but they're not going to pay for it. -z-

Closer to home, what happened to all the Haiti money? It's far easier to raise the money than to account for it. It's celebrities (local and international). It's excitement and the sure knowledge that you are doing something good.
